Who are we?

We are Kinders Van Die Kaap NPC, we are passionate about uplifting and changing lives, we operate in Elsies River, Cape Town, South Africa. We started in April 2020 and became a registered NPC in September 2020.

A need was identified to feed the children during Covid 19- Lock down Level 5, in South Africa. We as a family were moved to focus on the children in the impoverished community of Elsies River, Cape Town, where we all grew up. The area we chose is in 39th Avenue, Elsies River, which has always been a troubled and impoverished community. Our meal is often the only one the children receive in a day. Children suffer from malnutrition and so many other bad influences caused by a cycle of poor choices made by their parents. A further need was identified to upskill the children’s early childhood skills. In doing so, we built our own Learning centre & library. Our children are receiving a daily meal and we are providing them with a safe learning centre to learn and have fun.
